The water temperature is 60-62 degrees. Water level is down. Striper: Low Action: Shad are moving deep and this week there has been less of a Striper bite. Blue Gill: Low Action. Blue Gill are starting to pick up, live crickets and red worms have been successful this last week.

Catfish: Low Action- Cats can be caught over in the coves using chicken livers, anchovies, night crawlers and also on Gulp bait (bloody-bloody, bloody shad guts, bloody chicken). Large Mouth: Low/Med: Mainly smaller 3-4 pounders. Action: Trout: No Action. Carp: Low Action: Always fun to catch! Use your favorite carp dough balls, along the banks or under heavy cover. The water temperature is 46 - 50 degrees. Striper: High Action: Working well this week is catching live shad from Skinner, casting out over in the east end early in the morning. Also, use umbrella rigs, Sibiki rigs, and crank baits , plastic lead heads, flukes, scroungers and rattle lures over at the East end. Blue Gill: No action.
