Fishing at Castaic is fair right now.The striper bite has slowed down a bit.A few bigger stripers have been caught on swimbaits in the last couple weeks.The largemouth bass fishing is slow right now. Most bass are being caught on plastics in 10 to 40ft.Catfish are biting pretty good.Most catfish are being caught on nightcrawlers,anchovies, and mackerel.We will be receiving a trout plant this week.

Water temperature was 64F. Fishing at Castaic is fair right now. The stripers have been boiling in the morning and evenings. Most stripers are 3 to 5 lbs. The largemouth have been biting fair. Most largemouth are being caught on plastics in 5 to 30 ft . The catfish are biting mackerel and nightcrawlers in 25 to 50 ft. We are due for another trout plant next week.
