Surface Water Temp: 64.1 degrees
Fish Plants: We will be stocking 1000 pounds of Mt. Lassen trout this coming week
Lake Hours: Wednesday- Sunday 5:45AM- 4:30PM
Weather: The Forecasts show temperatures in the mid 30's to low 60's
BASS
Bass have been in about 25-30ft of water. Anglers are catching many smaller bass and some are catching lunkers! Swimbaits and drop shotting plastics are working best for bass.
STRIPER
The best areas to fish for striper are near the west dam, and off the points. Trout pattern swimbaits are recommended for catching striper.
CATFISH
The catfish bite picked up this week! Anchovies and chicken liver work best for catfish.
PANFISH
There were no reports of panfish this week. Mealworms, night crawlers and jigs are recommended for catching panfish.
TROUT-
There were no reports of trout caught this week. Nightcrawlers, rooster tails, kastmasters and power bait work best for trout. The best time to fish for trout is after a stock.
