Capt Bill Cavanaugh called in from the Amigo out of Ventura Sportfishing to let us know they have an overnight trip departing tonight headed for the northern Channel Islands. The weather and water are looking really great for tonight and tomorrow. You can get a spot by calling Ed at the office at 805-676-3474 and book your spot, or go to the website at www.venturasportfishing.com and reserve online. We do need a couple more to get the boat out, hopefully we will see you on the boat.

Capt Bill Cavanaugh checked in from the Amigo as they headed to San Miguel Island on an overnight trip and are having a very good day. We have limits of big reds and chucks by 11:00 am, plus a limit of really nice lingcod from 12 to 18 lbs. We have stayed shallow fishing from 120 to 150 feet and also have some really nice Whitefish and Sheephead. We have some trips coming up with room, give...... Read More
