We are seeing some excellent bottom fishing right now. Lingcod counts are great with the bulk of the numbers coming from the overnight fleet fishing the outer islands. Other notable catches are the size of some of these Sheephead we are getting. We had one reportedly almost 30 pounds caught on a full day trip. The Whitefish remain steady while Red Snapper and other assorted Rockfish complete the day. For all you big game hunters, Yellowtail are still around but have proved to be more elusive on this particular week. Yes, conditions are changing as the water is cooling off a little bit and we are seeing signs of Squid moving back in to the area.
