Fishing at Castaic is very good right now. The stripers have been boiling the last couple days. Most stripers are 3 to 5 lbs.The largemouth bass have been biting well. Most largemouth are being caught on plastics in 5 to 30ft.The catfish bite is going strong with many double digit catfish caught the last month. Water temperature was 74F. Fishing at Castaic is fair. The striper boils have slowed down a bit this last week. The largemouth bass fishing is fair. Most bass are being caught in 15 to 40 ft on plastics and spoons. The catfish are still biting on mackerel and night crawlers. The carp have showed up in numbers and are found around patches of debris.
