Well into the weekend we are already seeing good numbers coming from the boats. Yellowtail are capturing most of the attention but fortunately we have much to back us up here at the Channel Islands. Today we had some boats do extremely well on the game fish while others plucked away landing only a hand full of Yellows. Never seen in the count is the amount of casualties and word has it, there was several today.

Today's Fish Count: 10 Boats and 196 Anglers

143 Yellowtail, 39 Bonito, 1 Sand Bass, 22 Calico Bass, 1 Barracuda, 32 Perch, 35 Lingcod, 8 Sculpin, 5 Sheephead, 2 Sole, 15 Ocean Whitefish and 944 Rockfish.
