BASS
Anglers are catching smaller bass between 3-4 pounds. Plastics, nightcrawlers, and lures that replicate bluegill work best for catching bass. Anglers are catching the majority of the bass off the points and near the dams.
STRIPER
The striper bite picked up this week! Anglers are catching quality striper in large quantities. There were many reports of striper being caught near the north west dam, and around the inlet outlet tower. Fresh sardines are recommended for catching striper. CATFISH
Anglers are catching catfish between 5-9 pounds! Cut bait, night crawlers and stink bait work best for catfish.
PANFISH
The panfish bite is still on! There were many reports of panfish being caught near the dams. Mealworms, night crawlers and jigs are recommended for catching panfish.
TROUT-
There were no reports of trout caught this week. Nightcrawlers, rooster tails, kastmasters and bait covered in Lip Ripperz hatchery dust work best for trout. The best time to fish for trout is after a stock.
