The road is still not clear of snow but the lake is ice free and the hike isn't too bad from what folks are telling me. The bite is wide open up there on a mix of solid chunky rainbows and a few browns. I haven't heard of a lure or bait that isn't working up there - the fish are going after anything. A father/son duo caught 47 fish up there on Saturday....not too shabby.
