Rate Fishing Action by Species

Trout: Excellent, avg size 3.00 lbs.
Catfish: Fair, avg. size 3 lbs.
Largemouth Bass: Slow, avg. size 3 lbs.
Crappie: Poor, avg. size 0oz.
Bluegill/Red ear: Slow, avg. size 3oz.
Striped Bass: none
Carp: Slow, avg. size 2.5lbs.

Important Information: Power Bait Worms and Night crawlers are still working well for Trout. Catfish are starting to wake up and hit from time to time.

SPECIAL UPDATE: Due to the recent flooding of our Park, HorseshoeLake has sustained major damage. The damage has temporarily closed that lake only. Our Pelican Lake is up and running and the fish are hitting just as hard. The trout are jumping, begging to be hooked. The Park will continue to stock at Pelican Lake. So come on in and enjoy a day of fishing.
