Today’s Fish Count: 2 Boats and 58 Anglers

28 Calico Bass, 8 Sand Bass, 1Sculpin, and 600 Sand Dabs.

Bass fishing on the Gentleman looked like fun with a decent keeper bass count and again over a hundred shorts released. As usual they were biting live bait but also artificial lures. In fact, it was reported that top water hard baits like the ones pictured were getting slammed. On the Speed Twin trip targeting Sand Dabs they had a much tougher day finding willing bites. Trying a couple different locations that normally put out big numbers, they simply didn’t cooperate. Just proves its all fishing, not catching. But still they got to enjoy a nice day on the water and catch enough Dabs for some dinners. Fishing trips will resume starting Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with trips targeting Bass and Sand Dabs!
