Creek fishing was only fair but most anglers able to scratch out a limit in a day's fishing. There are still some chunky fish to 4lbs being reported and an Alpers plant scheduled for Friday the 26th should spice things up a bit. salmon eggs, crawlers, mini-jigs and plastic trout worms are best.
Adopt-A-Creek in partnership with the Piute Palace Casino are still stocking Alpers with bright orange tags worth $25-$100 in casino credits. Five of these tagged fish will be put in the creeks, North Lake & Intake II each week!
