We were the early charter at CHANNEL ISLANDS SPORTFISHING and everyone showing up on time we were soon loading up on the SUMO, greeted by Capt Mark Sawa and his crew. After Capt Mark gave us the safety briefing and plans for the day, we held our ever popular raffle with some great prizes. We gave out some flourocarbon spools from SEAGUAR and the hottest T-Shirts out there from SFR. BOBS SPORTING GOODS provided a $50 gift certificate off any custom made rod for the jackpot winner. The bait had been loaded prior to us loading and we under way headed for Santa Cruz Island, after a smooth ride across we were soon baiting up and it wasn't long and we had several calico's and bonitos on the deck. We continued through out the day alng the shoreline getting calicos and bonitos at every stop we made. We also managed a few rock fish and one nice 20 lb Halibut for the Jackpot. It was another great SFR charter with everyone getting some fish and enjoying a great day on the water. Thanks to Capy Mark and his crew for making sure we had a great day.
