Falling water temps have improved the bite here, as there has been some consistent action on breaking fish in open water. Small flukes, A-rigs, as well as small spoons, and swimbaits have all been effective. If you're not into chasing boilers, the finesse bite has been steady on finesse techniques in 25' to 35' of water all over the lake.  There has been some bluegill  being caught, but these have all been on the small side. Catfish went unreported to the concession last week. Water temperature 77 degrees.

Later in the day it's been finesse techniques in 25' to 35' of water producing the best results. The bluegill bite was almost nonexistent last week, and only a handful of juvenile fish reported to the concession. Catfish were once again M.I.A. Water Temperature: 79 degrees ...... Read More

As usual, finesse fishing in 25' to 35' has been steady throughout the day. The bluegill bite seems to be done for the now, and there were no reports of catfish to the concession last week. ......
